darkstar965
I speak enough Spanish to confirm this is a name some will find offensive and others will ignore or find amusing. It can be interpreted differently as the article lays out. Odder to me is that a clearly Hispanic chicken spot's sign is positioned under an awning with big letters promoting "Tandoor." Latin/Indian fusion chicken?

Latin/Indian fusion chicken? I saw that too, and wondered if there would be curried yucca?
Rieux
It's definitely a curse word in Spanish (depending on where you are). I've heard it in the context of chinga tu madre, which means what you think.
