Baltimore Dinner Advice

Recommended Posts

Hey all:

So I'll be in Baltimore for a casual business dinner next Monday night and am looking for recommendations. Looking for somewhere fun with good food and my knowledge of Charm City restaurants extends to Charleston (never been but have heard good things) and The Helman (love it but looking for something a little more upscale).

Any thoughts? Also, its a Monday so some places may be closed....

Thanks

Niall

Salt

Woodberry Kitchen (local food)

Clementine (local family restaurant)

Iggie's Pizza

Juong Kak (korean bbq with charcoal!)

Gertrude's (at the BMA)

the Charleston family- Pazo, Cinghiale, Petit Louis

Pitango Gelato

Abbey Burger Bistro

Ryleigh's Oyster Bar

Elfegne Cafe (ethiopian)

This is a fascinating list that makes we want to drive up to Baltimore and try them all. Thank you for posting this, Howard. I'm all over it.

Cheers,

Rocks.

How does Joe Squared compare to Iggie's? Picked up an XL half pepperoni half mushroom this weekend at Jsq and it was just OK (undersauced and crust way to thin). 9 pepper wings on the other hand were great!

Thanks for the recommendations! We will probably play it safe and do Cinghiale or Pazo, although the most recent review for Pazo on DR is lukewarm to say the least....
