Ericandblueboy
Are conveyor belt sushi joints all you can eat type of deals? There's Wasabi in Tysons mall but I have no idea how it works.
deangold
$13.79: all you can eat plus a drink. Bring a blow dart and sleeping potion if seated near pre teen boys or all you can eat takes on a new meaning.

Usually you pay for the number of plates you took, and those are design- or color-coded for price (not everything costs the same). I've never been to any in DC, so I don't know if anyone has an idiosyncratic system set up, but that's the norm (so not AYCE for one price, but you only pay for what you take). Up until now, I've never heard of a kaiten sushi restaurant that wasn't "pay per piece."
catharine
Up until now, I've never heard of a kaiten sushi restaurant that wasn't "pay per piece." I've seen it both ways. Wasabi downtown was pay per plate the one time I went there years ago.
