  1. My vote is for the Cabo chicken from Chicken out. Chicken out's chickens seem much plumper then what the peruvian places offer. The cabo has some good spice and though not as tasty as EPR I believe I will not need 2 hours on the stairmaster afterwards.
  2. Yes, we sent there about 2 months ago. Very good food, service was great though the dining room was drafty and not heated very well. I can't remember what we ate but do recall that all four of us thought it was very good.
  3. I just noticed they are under new management since the summer. Has anyone been there. The happy hour looks decent($% burgers). I live close by and had high hopes when they opened but $200 for a dinner in Rockville was not worth the product they were producing. They had high hopes but did not suceed. Anyone been recently.
  4. Lunch at DC Coast today with my wife..Our first time back in ages and it was great. I had the Squash soup which was great...I though the coldish goat cheese pieces in it didn't work that well as they didn't add to the dish but the squach and pancetta chunks were great. Wife had chili which was good. For Entrees we had Coated trout(me) and Salmon(wife) both were great. Deserts were Creme Brulee and Bread pudding..Excellent It was my birthday and they made it special. The lunch was very good, I'd abanded DC Coast in favor of Cieba and Courdoroy but was very pleased(and now stuffed) Mark
  5. We built a wine cellar downstairs when we had the downstairs finished. It is an enclosed and insulated room with redwood racking on 3 walls that holds about 1000 bottles. It is great to be able to buy wine by the case in the 10-20$ range which is the real sweet spot. I do have one wall reserved for better wines I have accumulated through buying, aging amd travel. I.E. Brunellos from Tuscanny and Grand Cru from Burgundy. Simply it works out great.
