farmer john
Probably should have shut the whole joint down for the day once they had to 86 romaine.
afelton
I have also found myself eating here a lot lately. I usually get something similar to Rovers2000's meal above - super greens, lamb meatballs, tzatziki, eggplant, crazy feta, olives, cucumber, sriracha greek yogurt. kmcass
I'd personally rather have places like this occasionally run out of ingredients due to relatively fresh sourcing than the alternative... They also generally have mesclun, spinach and their supergreen mix available. The leap from "they ran out of romaine" to "this place sux" seems pretty ridiculous.
pras
I was at the Costco in Gaithersburg two weeks ago, and several pallets worth of romaine were bad. It can happen.
Gadarene
The breakfast here is actually pretty good. It's become a staple of my early morning flights out of DCA. The harissa is pretty awesome.
DanielK
At my daughter's high school, Cava Grill is second only to Chipotle for places that the teens like to go eat. I think that's pretty awesome.
ktmoomau
My Hubby used to be luke warm on Cava, I am not sure why, but now he REALLY likes it and is on the bandwagon with me. I just wish the Alexandria location wasn't so darn hard to get to from Old Town during rush hour.
hopsing
I've been twice, once at Tyson's and the other day at the McLean location. I loved it the first time. The second time not so much. The arugula had no taste, the eggplant dip (baba ghanoush?) didn't taste like eggplant. Beef meatballs cold and tough. Olives were good and the black cherry soda was a standout. But it made me long for Amsterdam Falafel which has much tastier ingredients and tons better falafel. Too bad the Clarendon location closed. I make a point of going to the L'Enfant Plaza location when I am visiting museums.
Genevieve
The Clarendon Cava Mezze is on their website. When was there a Cava Grill in Clarendon?
