Should Costco have its own thread? I don't know how many of them sell fresh food and meat. I bought one of the buy and bake pizzas at Costco today. It seemed awfully cheap ($7.99). I decided that was probably because it was square and they may be experimenting with that (square takebake combo--the pepperoni and plain cheese were the same price). I have a Wolf Range--not the full commercial but fancier than a basic home range. It has 6 burners. I think if it as being pretty big. It's never been inadequate for anything we've asked of it in going on 2 years. (I'd have to dig through paperwork to give the precise specs.) The pizza is too big to fit in my oven! It looked like it might just fit, but I realized immediately that the front glass door was getting coated in cheese and tomato. I folded a margin of it over and am still attempting to cook it. When I bought it, I had figured if it was terrible, it was only $8, but I didn't factor in to that the labor cost of cleaning my oven door. Thank you very much . -
I became a fan of this band after discovering them in the early 80s. I came close to seeing them play live in 1987, but then Fish left and there was drama. I think some of the lyrics are overwrought, and some of the music is not as great as 70s prog rock, but the sweet clean guitar is amazing. I have many favorites, but here is one sample - Jigsaw: -

Ian Astbury and Billy Duffy are the relentless and everlasting core. These guys were my lost soul of my late 80s period. They rock far louder, but this down tempo song really resonated with me. The gents player Lisner Auditorium if you can believe it. Brother Wolf and Sister Moon:

I accidentally got exposed to The Tragically Hip back in....the very early 1990s? I saw them play at a show at Hammerjack's as a part of, I think, an WHFS thing. 'New Orleans is Sinking' was the song that drew me in. I heard a few more songs over the years, but I never bought any of their albums or saw them play again, live. Then, a few years ago, my wife gets me a compilation of their work (Yer Favourites) and I love it! They are kind of rocking, kind of Canadia, kind of thoughtful, kind of twangy, kind of just good. I love Big Maybelle. I used to have a two-LP compilation of her work that was fantastic. I haven't heard it in probably 20 years (or more), but I recognize this track from it. Thanks for posting it. I must confess I don't remember ever hearing of Sid Wyche, so thanks for your research. Turns out he co-wrote the widely recorded standard "Well all right, okay, you win" and also the mischievous (to put it mildly) "(I Love to Play Your Piano) Baby Let Me Bang Your Box", first released by The Toppers in 1954:

Cal Yastrzemski, affectionately (and practically) known as "Yaz" by his fans, was an incredibly durable 18-time All-Star for the Boston Red Sox. Although he played some of his later career at 1st Base and Designated Hitter, he was primarily known as a Left Fielder. Yaz was the first player with both 3,000 hits and 400 home runs. His longevity made him not only a beloved fixture in Boston, but also earned him second place all-time in MLB Games Played, and third place all-time for MLB At-Bats. He is the all-time Red Sox leader in career RBIs, runs, hits, singles, doubles, total bases, and games played, and is third only to Ted Williams and David Ortiz in home runs. What a career this man had, especially in 1967 when he won both the AL Triple Crown and MVP Award. Here is an ESPN "SportsCentury" documentary (a wonderful biography series which ran from 1999-2007) about Carl Yastrzemski, who seems to be unjustifiably fading (along with other great outfielders such as Al Kaline, Tony Oliva, etc.) in the minds of young baseball fans:
