  1. I'm going to have to try this place. And I always get a chuckle when philly cheesesteak snobs curse at LTM on "steak sub" here in the south. If it's what people like, then it's in their best business interests to offer it.
  2. Delicious. Inexpensive like you would expect, it's related to the multi-location Irene's Pupuseria. The stars on the menu are the baliadas and the pupusas. I've never seen baliadas anywhere else, but it's a huge puffy tortilla, grilled a bit on the outside. I go for baliadas con todo which have beef, beans, eggs, avocado, and maybe some other mysteries. The pupusas are well-done but similar to every other pupusa I have ever had. Oh and I almost forgot the lengua taco. I am a big fan of tongue and see it very rarely here. The stewed lengua there is great-cooked just enough so that it's not horribly chewy but the unique taste of tongue still shines through. Not for everyone, but I am happy they serve it.
  3. Dumplings there are okay but have yet to have any soup in them. I didn't even know they were supposed to be soup dumplings. The pork belly with preserved mustard green though? That's just a fantastic dish.
  4. Woah, what? It's not even the best gyro in CP. Or within 15 feet of itself. Marathon all day every day and twice on Sunday.
  5. I have asked a handful of winemakers about this, and they all say the same thing--restaurants scoop up 90+ percent of the half bottles.
  6. I was very happy to read this. I don't understand the lack of love for PS7's. I have been wowed each time I have eaten there. I have met the chef briefly on a couple of those occasions and he's a great guy, happy to chat about the food, the place, or anything else. DC foodies must support this place.
