zoramargolis
According to The Northwest Current, wine importer Peter Weygandt and business partner Todd Ross have applied for a Class A liquor license in hopes of opening Weygandt Wines at 3519 Connecticut Ave. A preliminary hearing before the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board is scheduled for May 11. The Cleveland Park ANC passed a resolution that it has no objection to the application. That'll make those blocks of Connecticut between Macomb and Porter an even more food-and-wine-friendly destination, joining Cleveland Park Wine and Spirits, Vace, Dino and Palena. And Calvert-Woodley is just up the road a piece.
