Super tasty takeaway from SCRAPPY's Bagel Bar, an 11AM to 2PM Sat/Sun pop-up located at Estadio in DC by Chef Rob Rubba and his wife Chef Deb Rubba. On Saturday night at 8PM, I pre ordered online via Toast and scheduled my pickup for 11AM on Sunday at the entrance of Estadio. So grateful I got to enjoy this delectable Spring Bialy of Ramps, Mushrooms, Ramp Cream + Pea Shoots AND Everything Bagel w/ Ramp Cream, which didn't make the photo! I highly recommend following SCRAPPY's Bagel Bar stories on Instagram for the latest updates. The chew, texture and taste is perfection. Best fresh bialy and bagel I've had in a long time!

Insanely delicious takeaway of Truffle Zested Oxtail Udon Noodle Soup from Nasime Japanese Restaurant. Exquisitely prepared with lots of care by Chef Yuh Shimomura. I just started following Nasime on Facebook to keep up with what is offered on the takeaway menu for both lunch and dinner, which updates frequently. I called in my dinner order tonight and it was ready to pick up in 16 minutes. Looks like delivery is offered within 3 mile radius, but I recommend you call to confirm.

I just heard that Shouk is rolling out a new menu item in about 10 days. I'm beyond excited and have a hunch it's going to be a huge hit! So in awe of how Shouk keeps innovating!

Before Green Almond Pantry closes at 7PM tonight, I highly recommend picking up this insanely delicious Lamb Shank with Celeraic and Potato. I was lucky enough to use a chopstick to scrap out all the bone marrow as a bonus. This is the best lamb shank I have ever enjoyed to date in my life! Cagla's cooking is sublime!

Green Almond Pantry is one of Equire's 22 Best New Restaurants in America 2019 Wishing for all the support for the successful future of Green Almond Pantry! Don't be deterred by the 8-seat counter. Minimal wait time, if any. Also, take-away is so convenient. Green Almond Pantry is my top favorite lunch spot in all of DC/MD/VA.

Back on August 10, 2019, after a delicious dinner at Le Comptoir du Vin, my dining companion and I decided to take a walk to check out the food truck at Fadensonnen. Instead, we happened upon Larder featuring Guest Chef Juliet Orbach cooking her Persian and Jewish comfort food for Saturday Supper. We ordered 4 dishes to share and enjoyed a delicious second dinner! Ever since that night, I have been following Larder on Instagram for their Guest Chef Saturday Suppers. Highly recommend Larder and Le Comptoir du Vin. It's such a joy discovering exciting new places to eat.
