I visited this with AGM and NQD about a month or so ago. First time. I was astounded. I am also surprised that the FM in Loudoun suck utterly, especially compared to FCFM. Leesburg isn't too bad, I had an enjoyable 45 minutes (mostly near the winery stand) but for the most part the FM I have visited in Loudoun are pretty skimpy. It's ironic when you think about it... -

agm, nqd, and moi visited here Sunday night. My first time. I'm still full. Excellent meal and what a great price! Two glasses of wine, an app, and the huge meal (which ended up doubling as lunch the next day) - 41 bucks plus tip. Can't beat it.

Hi all In the three categories: dirt cheap, regular priced, and spendy - what three in each category are absolute must-dos, IYHO? Let's say you were leaving the area, never to return - at what nine places would you dine before leaving?

I had the pleasure of accompanying Adam and Colleen (NQD and AGM) to Evening Star last night. An aperitif each (plus a bottle of very well-priced St. Emilion), 5 apps for the table (which prompted a visit by the chef, who had heard that "his brother" was dining there that evening), stupendous main courses plus divine desserts for all and we made our slow way back to the car afterwards. I'll leave Adam to describe the meal in detail. I DID have my camera but didn't take photos...
