  1. Are there any restrictions on their normal "pre-theater" $30 dinner? I remember someone on a Tom-chat a while back saying that some places only offer their "pre-theater" menu to people actually going to the "theater."
  2. As others have said, the cod portion is pricey for the amount of food you get. I also found the chips to be on the skimpy side. Although I didn't find Eamonn's that appealing on my first visit, if chicken is now on the menu I think I will go again. I'll be sure to order a mars bar this time
  3. Went to RTS for the first time a few days ago and despite my extremely high expectations, I was not disappointed. The cashews and hot cocoa were nice touches and very enjoyable. The crab soup was terrific and loaded with crab meat - no big chunks, but loaded nonetheless. I had never eaten hanger steak before, but ordered it based on the high praise on this board. I found the steak to be really tasty and cooked exactly to my liking. I did not realize the hanger came as two slender "strips" of steak. My only real disappointments were the sides. The creamed spinach was not my favorite (although this might have more to do with my aversion to green things) and the mashed potatoes were a tad runny, but still tasty. We did have to wait a bit for a seat during a weeknight, but nothing too terrible. I know most of what I said has been said a million times, but just thought I'd give an update and share my $0.02.
  4. i think restaurants should treat all patrons equal (regular or not) just my two cents
  5. I think one poster above mentioned Crab Alley and Sunset Grille (although they called it "sunset restaurant"). I would avoid Crab Alley for everything but AYCE Crabs. Good places in Ocean City: Marlin Moon Grille (West Ocean City, across from the outlets, in the Francis Scott Key Hotel) - good seafood dishes Faustos (North Ocean City) and Ristorante Antipasti (30th Street) - good Italian, they have a very good Rockfish dish as I recall The Shark (46th Street) - pretty good for seafood (including shark) Smoker's BBQ Pit (West Ocean City) - good cheap-eats on Rte. 611 in West Ocean City, BBQ pork, ham, brisket, etc. Mad Hatter's (35th Street +/-) - funky eatery, inexpensive sandwiches, very good Devito's (North Ocean City) - italian deli, reminds me of Vace in DC without the pizza
  6. How does the "reservation" policy work at RTS? From reading the above posts, it seems like there is some sort of "list" (a waiting list?) that I need to get on the day-of. If I want to have dinner there on a Tuesday, how long can I expect to wait if I show up at 6:30/7:00?
  7. Hi everyone! I just moved to Montgomery County and I'm excited about RTC. I have a couple questions for our experts. 1) Can someone describe the crab royale (crab bomb?) - whats in it? 2) Is the sausage biscuit like something I would get at McDonalds for breakfast (style not quality), or is the sausage mixed in the biscuit batter?
