  1. I love malty English ales, which in my opinion, are far superior to hoppy American-style ales. I am also a huge fan of the Fullers line, which is not at all easy to find in D.C., in the bottle, or on tap. I'll have to check the place out. Old Dominion re-badges many of their beers as house brands for any number of local establishments. It would be interesting to see places like this work out a deal with Dominion to pump their delicious real-ale. And speaking of Old Dominion, their Oak Barrel Stout is VERY good on tap. Too bad you have to go all the way out to Ashburn to get it that way.
  2. I have heard that this space, formerly the "Washington Park Gourmet," is going to be some sort of coffee bar. Construction has been ongoing for over a year now, but things seem to have accelerated in recent months. Does anyone here have any inside information on what we can expect, or when it will be opening? I have also heard rumors that the Tryst people are involved...
