NECTAR
RUPPERT'S
Germaine's (just lying, never been there...but that name stand out so much. The critics liked it.)
Hibiscus Cafe (becuause it's a gym now, and it was fun)
Don,
You rock.
I like your mention of plastic wrapped roses from 7-11 and dinner at Cheesecake Factory. It helps me better understand the jaundice of the "yellow label"...
Extra Virgin. I mean, Extra Purgin'?
Instead of Regis can you do liquor?
Can you give a hint? Is there a shopping mall nearby? Are the mints by the hostess stand round or long?
You could prolly do ok with Nooshi/Spices. They have a nice balance of spring roll and chicken satay kinda stuff... Their salads are yummy, and I don't think their prices are unreasonable.
Don,
Are you going to have wine tastings with different characters from The Simpsons? I really think readers would enjoy it. Come on!
Apu likes Merlot.
It's dark and a little too pretty for anything on 14th Street. It looks, in my opinion, like it could be a showroom for luxury living (so, might be easy to bypass). Right next to Studio Theater by Whole Foods.
I think it's very cool that they have a menu posted for a place like Baked & Wired (even though it's hard to see) and ridiculous that they have the menus for all those Starbucks posted. Thanks for posting this, NCP.
