  1. Query: What does it mean if scary movies aren't scary anymore? Last night I learned that "The Ring" and work scare me about the same. And this is with subwoofers. Also, my memory is bad.
  2. Original Sin Hard Cider. And for Halloween I'm a housewife wearing a French maids outfit (in my head).
  3. A reliable child told me that Don gave out edible razors one year (Fruit Leathers from Trader Joe's to be precise). The next year I consulted him and he upgraded to Fruit Gushers and mini Snickers, I think.
  4. Levine's list isn't of the worlds best. This is just in the United States according to one guy. I won't be able to join in the fight to find out what the best pizza in the world is in this lifetime. PS: Don-- Ed Levine.
  5. Now it's gonna get dark two hours after lunchtime. We're bears now.
  6. PS: How come even though my little DST Correction box has always been checked, the software didn't automatically switch to DST today? Those bastards!! Auto correct DST? (If selected, your DST setting is automatically adjusted when you next load the board index)
  7. How to switch your DonRockwell.com Thyme to Daylight Savings Time: 1. First you have to care enough. Who cares? "God damn these clocks," she sighs. 2. Click on My Controls at the top right. Once in your control panel, see a laundry list of choices in the left margin. Close to the bottom find "Board Settings" (under the 'Options' heading) and click on it with all your might. 3. At the top of the page, see "Your base time zone". From the pull down menu, select GMT- 6:00 hours (Central Time).
  8. Ahh. The $40 entree. The Anti-Rachel Ray.
  9. Todd, what's all this October 30th Washingtonian.com launch talk? What will be new and different?
  10. Here's the long and better version
  11. Chat today. A nonny mouse bitchin'....
  12. Silence of the Hams The Frying Game Gulp Fiction Clockwork Lime American Foodie The Critics Must Be Crazy (part 2) The Naked Ton Comp Me If You Can
  13. Dude, this is a food forum. What the hooker-fuck are you doing rolling commentary on body types? At least she had a job!
  14. Why on earth would someone go here with Delhi Club on the block? Boggles the mind!
  15. Nope. Sunflower flaunting tea sippers shall stay mum.
  16. I went to Camelot for dinner tonight and had the salmon a la carte. I thought it was overcooked and the white sauce was too salty and crusted with some sort of awful dried cilanto. My companion had the corn dog and a side of chips. We paid our tab in singles and left a 18 percent tip. The bouncer was fat and sported a mullet. I'm afraid I won't be back.
  17. Chestnut soup (particularly Marcel's), creamy mushroom soups (you'd be a fool to miss Kolumbia's version topped with sweetbreads) and any puree of rooty veg (hot and buttery, I say). bisous, Souperstar
  18. Except it's dark back there. Do people in book clubs recite from the book/read notes or mostly yammer? Better question: Does Aroma have overhead lights that aren't red? Maybe off-peak at Saint-Ex on those couches in the basement (if the music is way down)...
  19. I guess my custom monogramed chaps have yet another day to collect dust.
