I had such a fun meal here a few weeks ago. I have to say that the deep-fried olives were outstanding.. YUM. -
I was at Art & Soul for dinner a few nights ago and the sweet Art Smith smiled when I asked him if he was going to the White House.... His name has been tossed around a lot as a potential candidate on news sites and by food-lovers I know. I am not privvy to any real information here.. i am just speculating What is your guess? Who do you think will be cooking the next State Dinner?

I love their beef with basil and chili. It is simply yummy and of course, that papaya salad.. hmmmm.. Maybe that is where I should head for lunch right now!!

I took my 9-year-old to The Blue Duck Tavern the other day and he totally loved it specially the hand-churned ice-cream. The staff fussed over him and made him feel so special. And then he declared that their fries were better than McDonalad's french fries! Happy birthday to your young lady!

We were at a friend's 40th birthday party this past weekend and the luscious chocolate cake that his wife served was, honestly, one of the best cakes I have ever eaten. I just emailed her to ask where she got it from and her response is below. I thought it was from a high-end bakery.
