Just to clarify Liam's post, Lola was a casual little neighborhood bistro on the other side of the Cuyahoga River. It has been renamed Lolita, and Michael Symon is going to reopen Lola - presumably a bigger, fancier Lola - somewhere downtown later this year, while keeping Lolita open as his "second restaurant." I had dinner at Lolita several weeks ago and loved it. Cheers, Rocks.

All, I just got this letter from Brooks Hamaker, and I'm happy to promote this event here. Let's get some good representation from our members at this worthy event. Please click here to view the fine short film "Saving Willie Mae's Scotch House." Cheers, Rocks HalfShellFundraiser.pdf

Spanish tapas are good, often as good as the Asian/French tapas that you're seeing around. I like Greek, tapas, too. It's nice that so many tapas bars opening up, and with som much variety. They go well with vodka martinis.

A little ground coarse salt and some hot pepper flakes will fix it right up.

I don't think Tom would misreport this. That said, I don't see this as any big deal at all. If it was, in fact, supposed to be for family and friends, it speaks volumes about the owners handling extra guests so seamlessly. Cheers, Rocks.

FWIW, fairly recently in Hagerstown, I had the single best Chick-fil-A sandwich and fries I've ever had. Incidentally, has anyone seen the recent ad campagin with Bobby Flay? He's wearing a chicken suit and running around dancing and clucking - I only caught a sideways glance, but the caption at the end says something about "Chick Flay."
