  1. Mama Ayesha's is the BEST. Grab coupon to the restaurant available HERE for it looks like the next two weeks ) -- pay $25 for a $45 coupon!
  2. The Monty is the best. Overall, Earl's is a quality sandwich shop although the decor leaves something to be desired. I'd certainly recommend checking out Earl's if you haven't already.
  3. You can get a $30 coupon for $15 to the Reserve for the next 2 weeks on the What's the Deal website. That should get you a plate and a half!
  4. Great deal at Visions from What's the Deal DC. Get a $45 coupon to Visions for $25 with no restrictions on minimums. Not bad at all. Haven't been to the restaurant before but I'm looking forward to checking it out. Website clearly needs work. -W
  5. I've been there once. Food is really good but SPICY! If you ask for hot be prepared!
  6. Great, thanks for the detailed review, Lola. I purchased and plan on going this weekend and will be sure to report back. Thanks! -W
  7. Has anyone ever been to Mama Ayesha's in Adams Morgan/Woodley Park? There's a coupon for $25 that gets you a $45 gift certificate at http://dc.sowhatsthedeal.com/. Let me know if you've been, I'm thinking of purchasing. Thanks! -W
  8. Thanks for the heads up, Keithstg. Spoke with my brother in law and he is a big fan of the brunch (Stuffed French Toad with Marscapone and Strawberries in particular). I'm Going to give it a shot, might as well try to at a discount! Definitely worth signing up for the Daily Deal listserv, regardless... -W
  9. Haven't been there before but there is a good discount at Leftbank in Adams Morgan at http://dc.sowhatsthedeal.com ($15 for a $25 gift card). A quick look at Yelp tells me it's supposed to be decent. May be worth a look!
  10. so has anyone actually been? My friend said her co-worker went and it was just so-so :/ Anxious to hear DR reviews before checking it out...
  11. Have had good experiences with the food at Cap City next to Union Station, although the service was slooooooooow. It took us 20 minutes to get our food and we were the only ones in there. My waiter only had us as a table and he sat down to chat up one of his friends and completely forgot about us. I had to get up and walk over to him to ask for the check. Food is good but the service, not so much...
  12. It's not a bad place to grab a drink later in the night as long as it's not a Friday or Saturday when it gets mobbed. Sometimes Thursdays are crowded too but the bartenders and nice and drinks, although expensive, are pretty good.
  13. Looking to try some new places in Adams Morgan. Mostly dinner and brunch spots. Anyone have good suggestions??
  14. Yea I'm a big fan of the Jamaican empanada from their store on 18th St. There are few betters deals out there than at Julia's
  15. Cork is one of my favorite wine bars in the city. The drinks are delicious and I'm a big fan of the menu. Definitely worth a look if you're looking for a nice, relaxing place to grab a drink with a few friends.
