  1. I rarely if ever drink vodka, but I know my wife is a fan of the Charbay Green Tea vodka that Chris used to make a drink with at Dino. Joe ordered a bottle for her so I am sure you could get whatever flavor through him.
  2. Funny you should say that, I was there Tuesday night and was pretty sloshed. Woke up with a pretty bad hangover, but had one of my most productive meetings ever. I felt like Max McGee in Super Bowl I. ETA: It was Monday, I must have been really hammered
  3. Mine was the same way today. It was so soggy that it made 2 Amy's pizzas look like they were sprinkled with Viagra. Bad Bad Bad.
  4. Any improvements to the wine list? I am going to dinner there tomorrow and was not impressed with the list the first time I was there.
  5. So far I've seen them at Rodman's on Wisconsin, Cleveland Park Wine and Spirits & The Wine Specialist.
  6. Nice. I was thinking about buying one but was concerned about how long this would keep. Any thoughts?
  7. Allagash black -Belgian style stout. Nice balance of coffee and chocolate. I am going to age a couple of bottles to see how they are in about a year.
  8. Olivier Lemasson "Gama Sutra" from 80 year old Gamay....soooooo good.
  9. I am in the market for a new decanter since my Riedel Ultra went missing ( I think the cleaning lady put it somewhere and I can't find it and she dosen't speak english) Any favorites in particular out there?
  10. Agreed! It is true that some on here think that "they are too cool for school" when it comes to RW. Me, I am personally not a big fan, but I surely see the value in it.
  11. I just bought a bottle of Damrak at the MoCo liquor store across the street from Wintergreen Plaza. There were several bottles there if anyone else is interested.

  16. I am hoping mine will be the crabmeat stuffed three pound lobsters I am making tonight to be preceeded by several oysters on the half shell from BlackSalt market. Washed down by two vintages of Krug.
  17. 2005 Domaine de Belliviere Coteaux du Loir Le Rouge-Gorge. Nice spicy notes of black pepper and a little strawberry fruit. Quite different then most reds from the Loire that I have tasted, and at 15% abv all you smucker-heads should give this a try (hint hint....it is not that hot) $24.99 from Arrowine (imported by the man JD)
  18. Too sweet for me, but then again I am a big fan of the Moylander.
