This sounds like an offer to run with me at 5 am the next morning... Add me to the list for Ooohs and Ahs (did someone say Mac and Cheese?) and Etete. I seem to remember a round table at front that could seat six or eight, and everything else was two tops along a single banquette. Which can be pushed together, sure, but it gets awkward upwards of 8. If anyone remembers better, please post here! Next time I'm in town I will try to swing by for a look. So, using the powers invested in me, I hereby declare that dinner will be at Addis Ababa on Wednesday 10/18, at 7pm, or 7:30 if no one objects to a slightly later starting time. AA is a few blocks from the Silver Spring metro for those dependent on public transport. Or alternatively we could arrange a pickup in the party van in case of inclement weather or extreme laziness. There are a ton of great ethnic restaurants around here that do not get nearly enough attention. We thought it would be fun to semi regularly, say once a month, get together and try a different place without breaking the bank. $20 (without drinks) seemed like a reasonable amount to most of us. Nothing formal, nothing over organized, unless someone wants to plan something special for a particular restaurant. Just show up and eat some good food together.
