The Legal Seafood at the Galleria always seems to have a good crowd and there typically is a line at Paul throughout the day. The Lebanese Taverna appears bustling as well.

Slate's Slow Burn is coming back with a Season 2. Season 1 tackled what it was like to live through the Watergate experience. Season 2 explores the Clinton impeachment from the same perspective.

It drinks much like it reads, affected somewhat in ways that cannot possibly be explained by the ambiance of the location in which it was imbibed. It paired well with the Yankees / Mets game (July 21) on the TV at the bar that the Yankeees won 7 - 6 after the Mets' 3 run rally in the top of the 9th came up short. It tasted just like that.

Oldest Restaurants in the New York City Area

Goodbye, Ben’s Best! Doors shut on iconic New York Jewish deli, by Shiryn Solny, on jns.org. Opened in 1945. Although sadly recently closed, since it was open when our community was founded on April 15, 2005, it makes the list. -
This was a more than acceptable alternative to the two Maryland I-95 rest stops. The crab cake was good and with no filler as they tout. It is not fast, especially when large groups come in, as the ordering at the single register can create a bottleneck. They do have online ordering for take out if you want to plan ahead. A charming appearance - basically an old house with a front porch that has been gutted and turned into a restaurant. Reasonably full even after 2pm. We ordered some sauteed vegetables as a side (zucchini, squash, and red pepper). They were alright, but nothing to rave or complain about. Mid-way through our meal the chef comes out from the back and tells us that he was not satisfied with the vegetables he sent out with our meal and that he was making them again and it would be right out. Although we told him that was not necessary, I am glad he did. They were 100% better. The one idiosyncrasy I noticed is a penchant for paprika which seemed to be on almost everything.

Smiling with Hope Pizza, 6135 Lakeside Drive, Suite 101, Reno, Nevada, 89511. I have never been to this pizzeria, and I probably never will in all honesty as I have no foreseeable plans to be in Reno. One of the owners, Walter Gloshinski, grew up in my home town. I spent many a night in the late 1970s and early 1980s watching Walter play the blues in any bar that would have him in and around Newark, New Jersey. He is one of the best harmonica players I have ever seen. This is a truly wonderful thing that Walter and Judy are doing. Pizza With A Social Cause. See also Owners of One Nevada Pizzeria Make It a Point to Hire Workers With Disabilities, by Catherine Thorbecke, March 1, 2016, on abcnews.go.com. If you are in driving distance, hop on over and tell them you are there to see Walter "H.K." Tore and grab a pie. The "H.K." stands for Harmonica King.

I figured out the deal with the ice cube. I drink it too fast for it to have much impact on taste. I kept an empty glass and allowed the cube to melt a bit and there is definitely a mild flavor imparted. Probably won't taste that again. 😉

Paid Parking Slowly Killing Reston Town Center?
dcs replied to Ferris Bueller's topic in News and Media
I stopped by the other day. Looks like a good lunch option in the town center. Sandwiches, pizza, sushi, salad bar, soup, 5 or 6 warm buffet trays. It mostly all looked good.- 255 replies
