Apparently the Bethesda location is closed based on this article regarding a new place moving in. This may be one of the worst ideas I've ever seen. "Pizza Pass Coming to Woodmont Triangle" by Aaron Kraut on bethesdamagazine.com

Since it is my first attempt I am going to use some dough from Vace. More worried about the temperature and technique at this point. Once I get this perfected I will move on to making my own dough.- 289 replies

Looks like the Lickety Split is staying per Eater. "The Lickity Split stays or there would be a riot!" joked co-owner Meshelle Armstrong to Eater, calling the two-course, $14.98 deal "the best introduction to Eve for those who have never been."

Ate here on Tuesday for first time in years. Place was packed for happy hour but got a two top outside. Didn't realize it was restaurant week but decided to order off that menu. Our waiter was overwhelmed with aparty of 8 next to us and service was awful and slow. Steak frites were passable but I really dislike the frites here. We were trying to catch a movie t Bethesda Row so didnt have time for dessert from Restaurant week menu but was still charged $33 despite app and entree totaling only $29.

Hard to believe a restaurant in business since 1977 has no thread here, unless I missed it. Wife and I were in Bethesda tonight strolling around and decided to give it a shot after years of driving by it. Short story - average old school Italian, awful wine list, great service, decent value for what you get. Handwritten receipt - love it. Would rather head here when looking for Italian over Olazzo and other mediocre Italian spots in Bethesda. Not many options here for Italian food, someone save us.

I eat here every now and again and it is leaps and bounds above Quiznos. The bread here is actually the best feature. They actually sell the day old bread at a good price and the wife likes it for dinners.

Looks like they are taking over the former Majestic/Gaffney spot on Wisconsin Avenue. I have had a few sandwiches from the food truck and everything has been very good. Not sure how this will translate.

We ended up stopping here and it was ok. Not sure I would go out of my way to return. We arrived around 5 pm to a nearly empty restaurant. Service was great and they have a nice deal going on with bottles of wine all priced at $25. We started with a crab dip, which was fine with the exception there was barely any crab. Wife and the filet and it was a nice piece of meat and cooked perfect to medium-rare. I had the sirloin and fried shrimp. My steak was overcooked - asked for medium rare but was cooked to medium to medium-well. It came with a healthy portion of fried shrimp.

Heading out Sunday to drop the kids at sleep away camp. One is in Yellow Spring, WV and the other in Bartow, WV. On our way home Sunday we plan on stopping at Flint Hill Public House for an early dinner - is this a good choice, we have never been. Our main dilemma is our return trip to pick up in 2 weeks, pick up is on Saturday morning. We are planning to head out Friday night and find some place to stay/eat. Couple options we are considering, looking for feedback or other options: Ashby Inn (Paris) - stay and eat here One Block West (Winchester) Element (Front Royal)

Eating in Citizens Bank Park
jandres374 replied to darkstar965's topic in Philadelphia Restaurants and Dining
Next time you need try the following: The Schmitter:: The Schmitter is one of Philly's favorites from McNally's Pub in Chestnut Hill. There's a stand dedicated to the sandwich, and the line is usually pretty darned long. Grilled steak, salami, cheese, onions, and special sauce. [section 140] Chickie's and Pete's: Chickie's and Pete's Crab Fries are the ultimate stadium snack. Sadly, there's only one stand to grab them (unless you're on club level), but there's more than enough cheese dip for everyone. [section 102]- 1 reply

Headed to Nemacolin for a company outing later this month. Has anyone been to Lautrec on site? Wondering if its worth it to make a reservation and skip the company organized happy hour.
